Unique opportunity for the registered nurse who desires to pursue a career in Information Technology. Chilton Memorial is seeking an RN experienced in the acute care hospital setting with working knowledge of hospital operations and information systems. Bachelor's degree preferred. Project Management experience needed. Strong analytical, decision-making and problem solving skills. Computer proficiency required. Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision.
Full time day position
Hours 8am-4:30pm
Responsibilities:
·
Provide IS support to nursing staff, medical staff, and other hospital departments for various applications, user processes, and workflow.
·Manage, facilitate, assist in system/software analysis, implementations and projects.
·Address computer system solutions and create new functionality and enhancements in software applications.
·Troubleshoot technical software issues.
·Participate in user education.
·Support application/system integration issues and interfaces.

Looking for a Director of Clinical Informatics in Connecticut. Posted 5/28/07
Salary Range $100K to $110K. 200+ beds, teach facility. BSN required would prefer Master’s degree in Healthcare Informatics. 3 to 5 years clinical experience, 5 years hospital experience in a management role, experience in clinical informatics, information systems, project management and computer systems highly desired. Cerner experience highly recommended.
